Dr. Jennifer Blake-Holden began her journey in Oriental Medicine during her undergraduate years in Beijing, China. There, she had the privilege to study acupuncture and Chinese medicine concepts, as well as complete observation rounds at the University of Economics and International Business Hospital in 2002. This experience sparked her fascination with how acupuncture, complex herbal formulas, and modern medicine work together to achieve superior results. While living in China, Jennifer also benefited from Chinese herbal medicine and fully immersed herself in the practice.

She received her master’s and doctorate degrees from the prestigious Emperor’s College in Los Angeles. Before opening her own practice, Jennifer worked in hospital settings such as Venice Family Clinic (a subsidy of UCLA), where she treated pain management and mental health conditions like depression and anxiety. Most recently, she completed a two-year residency with the US Department of Veteran Affairs, focusing on treating PTSD, Substance Abuse Disorders, and chronic pain. Currently, Jennifer holds hospitalist privileges at Providence Roy and Patricia Family Cancer Center, where she treats patients and conducts research on how acupuncture can support oncology patients. Dr. Jennifer is deeply passionate about helping people and meeting them where they are along their healing journey, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and compassionate care.
